Nature Environmental Consultancy served as the Lead Environmental Consultant for the Ramhan Island Development Project, providing overall environmental leadership and technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle. Nature coordinated the comprehensive environmental scope, led the required baseline studies and assessments, and supported the project team in maintaining strict environmental compliance. Our role focused on taking overall responsibility for the project's environmental direction, ensuring informed decision-making and seamless technical coordination across all project stages.
The project required an integrated environmental approach covering baseline surveys, hydrodynamic studies, marine and terrestrial ecology, mangrove health assessments, EIA, CEMP, MPMP, waste management, and environmental auditing. The key challenge was unifying these complex, multidisciplinary environmental requirements into a single, coordinated framework. This framework needed to effectively support master planning, construction activities, regulatory compliance, and the long-term ecological sustainability of the island development.
Nature Environmental Consultancy led the environmental scope of the project from initial assessment through environmental management and long-term monitoring. We managed the planning, coordination, and technical execution of all multidisciplinary studies, while establishing the implementation framework for the EIA, CEMP, MPMP, waste protocols, and monitoring programs. Through this integrated leadership approach, Nature provided a single point of environmental governance, ensuring risks were mitigated and environmental considerations were fully embedded into the project development.
